Frank Mulrennan
Following completion of his degree from University College Dublin, Frank Mulrennan started his media career with the national broadcaster RTÉ as a presenter and producer in the radio division.
After leaving RTÉ, he worked with the Irish Independent as business editor (1996-2000) and agriculture editor (1987-1995). In 2000 he became Managing Director of local newspaper the Drogheda Independent Group owned by Independent News and Media (now Mediahuis).
He joined Celtic Media in 2005 as Operations Director, appointed by Dunfermline to integrate the various media businesses they had acquired into one business entity. In 2008 he was appointed interim CEO by Lloyds Bank to lead a company restructure. This restructuring led to the management buyout of the company from Dunfermline in 2012, led by Mulrennan.
He is a founding member of the Press Council of Ireland and served as a director from 2008 to 2012. He is also an executive member of Local Ireland, an industry group representing local news outlets in Ireland, and served two terms as President of this organisation.

Shareholder - Was a member of the management team buyout in 2012 and company director until 2018. He owns 27.4% shares of the company.
CMNL Chairman of the Group (non-Executive) - Is the Chairman of the Celtic Media Group (non-Executive) British specialist director with a background in management consultancy specialising in restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and operations. He owns 13.7% of CMNL.
CMNL Group Finance Director - A chartered accountant who joined Celtic Media Group in 2003, he worked as Financial Controller for the company until 2018 when he joined the board and was appointed Financial Director. He owns a 2.11% share in CNML Limited.
